My son’s Spring Break is right around the corner. Last year it was a big production, adventuring throughout the Pacific Northwest. That’s not in the cards this go around but a more modest trip is in the works. Mainly to Madison, WI but possibly further afield. I used to get to Chicago far more often. I need more of the Ukrainian Village in my life. This deficiency shall be remedied. Hopefully soon.

But I just can’t help myself. I’m long overdue for a visit to Midori’s Floating World Cafe. In their new location at 2629 East Lake Street (just kiddie corner from their original spot).

I’m ready for some warmth, but we’re not there just yet. May have to make due with another visit to the Como Conservatory, where I shot these flower photos last Fall.
